Tuesday Crafternoon: Marbled Paper

Welcome back to our second week of Crafternoons! I hope you enjoyed our first week of projects! I’ve loved seeing what you all have been creating together! This week we are starting off with a project that’s super fun for all ages! Paper Marbling!

This episode features another special guest! My niece, Hallie! ( We have 11 nieces and nephews total so you’ll be seeing lots of special guests over the next few weeks! ) We will show you how to marble paper using both the shaving cream and the oil method. If you have all the supplies you can try creating using both methods as well, or you can choose one and make lots of different colors using only one of the methods! At the end of the episode, we round up all our test pieces and compare the different techniques! If you are choosing one over the other, I would recommend the shaving cream method as it’s a little easier to clean up, and ended up being our favorite!

Marbled Paper is a fairly simple project, but the results are so fun! Once you create your marbled paper you can use it in all sorts of future projects! On Thursday, we will be using the marble paper we’ve made to create beautiful collage landscapes, so make sure you come back to join me for that project!
